For over seven years, I had primary caregiving responsibilities for my parents, who passed away in 2005 (my mother, age 89) and 2008 (my father, age 93). Caregiving was the most difficult experience I ever had, and it has taken some time to regroup and reenter my life. I learned a lot about life, death, and myself during the process. I hope that my blogs on Life After Caregiving will offer information and solace to those who are currently acting as caregivers.

Other subjects that I enjoy writing about are dysfunctional families (because I grew up in one) and spirituality. There are several blogs on each subject, and more to come. You're welcome to come on back when the spirit moves you.
